William Howard Booker, 77 of Schulenburg, Texas passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025. He had recently moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Schulenburg, Texas to be closer to family.
In the fall of October 29, 1947, William H. Booker was born in Oakland, Texas to Rev. William and Leola Booker. In his younger years, he gained the nickname of "Busky". He attended church at an early age. He attended public school in Oakland, Texas. Later he moved to El Campo, Texas prior to serving in the U. S. Army. Upon being honorably discharged from the army he became a long-haul truck driver until his retirement. Later he became a proud father to his son, Brandon Booker. Busky had a kind heart with a great sense of humor. He loved visiting with family and friends, who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lacy Mae Booker, Johnnie Mae Kyles, Emma Eugenia Booker and Bettye Jo Booker, brothers, Posey Lee Booker, Willie Earl Booker and Dallas R. Booker.
Busky is survived by his son, Brandon Booker, sister, Lizzie Mae Jones and many other family members and friends.
