It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of First Lady Wanda Denise Sutton. We are quite sure that she would offer us words of comfort, as she would say: I never knew a night so black, Light failed to follow on it's track. I never knew a storm so gray, It failed to have it's clearing day. I never knew such bleak despair, that there was not a rift, somewhere. I never knew an hour so drear, That Love could not fill it full of cheer.
On January 14, 1976 Wanda Denise Porter was born to Charles and Annie Porter in Eagle Lake, Texas. Wanda joined church at an early age. She attended all schools in Columbus and graduated.
Entering in Holy Matrimony, Wanda & Michael were married on May 5, 2007. From this union, they were blessed with three beautiful daughters, that they named Bre'Anna, Allison and Corine. Wanda was a dedicated employee at CISD for several years.
On April 8, 2021 she was called home by her Heavenly Father to her Eternal Rest. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Reverend Michael Sutton. Her three daughters, Bre'Anna (Kenneth Davis), Allison and Corine Sutton. Her mother, Annie Porter.
