Vada Pearl was the fifth child born on April 21, 1960 to Viney Mae and James B. (Mac) McKenzie in La Grange, Texas. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and attended church at Gay Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving, caring, kindhearted person who didn't mind giving.
After graduating from La Grange High School, she worked for La Grange I.S.D., the Nursing Home and Green Lantern. In 1978 Vada met the love of her life ( Michael Ray Binkley) and later the they would wed on November 16, 1983. Three children were born to this union, 2 boys and 1 girl.(Michael Ray Binkley, Jr., Jeremiah Binkley and Patty Binkley) all preceded her in death.
Vada was preceded in death by her children, parents, 1 sister, 1 aunt, 2 uncles and her grandparents.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: her loving husband, Michael Ray Binkley, Sr. of Alleyton, Texas;; two sisters, Mae (Elbert, Jr.) Scott of West Point, Texas and Scottie (Jack) Williams of La Grange, Texas; five brothers, Bishop John (Chole) Cephus of Houston, Texas, Charles (Ethel) Ellis of La Grange, Texas, James Ellis of Plum. Texas, Leslie (Patricia) Ellis and Stanley McKenzie, Sr. all of La Grange, Texas. Two uncles, Weldon Ellis and Arthur Ellis of Houston, Texas ; one aunt, Vada Pearl Floyd of Houston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
