Ruthie M. Cleveland was born February 12, 1941, in Waelder, Texas to McKinley Wilson and Lillian Jones Wilson. She was the sixth child of fifteen children born to this union. Ruthie began her formal education in Waelder and later graduated from Ralph Bunche High School.
Ruthie accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal savior through the ministry of Mother Annie Mae Lee of the Holy Temple of Jesus Christ as a young child of God, a woman of God and a servant of the body of Christ.
Ruthie united in Holy Matrimony to Ivan Earl Cleveland on June 9, 1962, and to this union they raised five children in Seguin, Texas.
