Rosie "Rose" Marie Caine was born on January 16, 1953, in Lamb County, Texas, to the late Mr. Rexie Caine and Mrs. Verdell (Jackson) Caine. She received her formal education at Schulenburg High School. Rose cherished spending time with family and friends, sharing jokes, dancing, and offering her help to others. A devoted churchgoer, she committed her life to Christ early on and renewed that commitment throughout her life. Rose passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rexie and Verdell Caine, as well as two brothers, Michael and Alonzo, and two sisters, Erna Eaton and Ruth Brown. Rose is survived by her daughter, Sabrina (Jerome) Stapleton of Schulenburg, Texas; three brothers, David (Tracie) Caine, Ivory Caine, and Rex Caine, all of Schulenburg; a sister, Marsha Caine, also of Schulenburg; an uncle, Clifford Jackson; a goddaughter, Kayoni Moore; and a special friend/brother, Curry King. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great uncles and aunts, and other relatives and friends.
