Nancy Marie Wright

Nancy Marie Wright, after 55 years on this earthly realm, peacefully transitioned into the Heavenly Kingdom and he presence of her Lord on January 25, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1967, in Schulenburg, Texas, she was the third child of Albert James Wright and Mary Ann Nevels-Wright,

Nancy accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, until she was called home to be with the Lord. She attended Schulenburg ISD, where she developed many friendships that has endured to this day.

All who knew her will attest to the fact that she had a very special personality. She loved people and children tended to gravitate towards her. She was known as "Nannan" not only to her grandchildren, but also to the other children of the community. "Nancy loved the kids".

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Wright, brother, Bradley Wright and her best friend, Elva Nita Speed-Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her life-long partner, Mr. Herbert Baines, her father, Albert James Wright, her beloved daughters, Sharelle Wade (Sam),  Shandrae Scott (Trae) and Shawanna Wright (Andy). Nancy absolutely adored her grandchildren, Daviah, Del'lani, Del'loni, Jhase, Ceadre, Dai'Yanih "Yaya", Jaxtyn, Dynasti, Cash, Bronxx, Dredyn, Xionn and Dayvon.She also leaves behind her siblings, Marilyn Nevels (Chuck), Michelle Wright, Becky Wright, Albert Wright, Jr., Joseph Wright, James Wright, Christina Jackson, Candice Tumba (Francisco, Angel McCarty (Corey), David Thompson, Leon Thompson, Carol Thompson, Albert James Wright, III and Josephine. Her only surviving aunt, Ora Moore of Schulenburg, Texas and her uncle, LeRoy Nevels (Barbara) of Dallas, Texas. Her god daughters, Destiny Scranton and Breashia Ellison, a special niece, Nikita Glass and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
