Morris was born January 16, 1974, to Morris and Betty Bacon. He was raised in Hallettsville, Texas and graduated from Hallettsville High School, where he also played basketball and football. He later attended Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. He has held positions at Dell Computers, UPS and was currently employed at the Cuero Livestock Company in Cuero, Texas.
He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Morris was also a coach for the Cuero Youth Football League. He really enjoyed working with the kids.
Morris departed this life on May 27, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann McAfee Bacon.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: 2 sons, Javaree and Jasiah Bacon; their sister, Jaren Jarmon; mother, Shanell Hopkins of Cuero, TX. His father, Morris W. Bacon, Sr. of Hallettsville, TX; his sister, Nacole Houston, brother-in-law, Richard Houston and niece, Le'Azja Houston of Elgin, TX and three aunts, Beatrice Walker, Violet Griggs and Jean Carroll all of Hallettsville, TX. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.
