Mary Thompson was born to Isaiah and Georgia Strambler on August 11, 1953 in La Grange, Texas. She had an amazing skill and special passion for sewing and often made clothes for herself and family. She loved watching horror movies, the kind that would scare most people, she found them funny and intriguing.
Mary was the loving mother of four children. She married Virgil Thompson, Sr, and they raised three sons, Sean, Eric and Virgil. Jr. and one daughter, Erika.
Much like her dad, she did not hold her tongue. If she wanted to say something to you she would say it. She was known for her big heart. If you were in need she had your back. Mary retired in 2019 after working in the health care field for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Isiah and two brothers, Jessie and Isaiah, Jr.
On Saturday, June 12, 2021, Mary passed away leaving her precious memories to cherished by her daughter, Erika and her three sons, Sean, Eric(Dominique) and Virgil, Jr.(Marcia). Grandchildren, Sean, Jr., Tatiana, Emily, Taylor and Chloe. Her mother, Georgia M. Strambler, Brothers, Ernest and Chris. Sisters, Rose, Princess, Michelle, Rhonda and Angela and several nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends.
