Lillie Mae Williams was born on March 12, 1951, in Cistern, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Callie) McCook Lillie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, and friend. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed watching The Western Channel. She was a gentle soul, and her life was a testament to the beauty of the Queen she was.
She ministered by always helping others and never expected or accepted anything in return. She took great delight in spending time and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our Mom. gained her wings on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. She transitioned peacefully into the arms of her Savior.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Williams, her parents, Robert & Callie McCook, her sisters, Doris and Geneva Spencer, her brothers, Donald and Jack McCook, her maternal grandparents, Jo Anna White and John Williams and her paternal grandparents, Jerdan & Lula McCook.
Lillie is survived by her children, Willie McCook, Joseph McCook, Tracie (David) Caine, Mary McCook, and Beverly (Bobby) Mitchell. Her sisters, Robbie Nell Tatum, Helen (Sharod) Wilson, Wilma McCook, Margaret McCook, Linda McCook and Carolyn McCook and one brother, Michael Wayne (Sandra) McCook. Her very special granddaughter, Raquaityah Sullivan and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
A Celebration of life to be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM from First Baptist Church 410 North Avenue E Waelder, Texas 78959 with Reverend W. L. Martin, officiating. Interment in The Waelder City Cemetery.
