Lear Benjamin Hewitt, Jr. was born on July 14, 1959 in Eagle Lake, Texas to Lear Benjamin Hewitt, Sr. and Flossie Mae Newton Hewitt. Ben resided in Columbus, Texas.
Ben was a simple man. He loved driving trucks and was known as "Wonder Dog." he was the guy who had to have the last word.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lear Benjamin Hewitt, Flossie Mae King and Linzer King.
Ben leaves to cherish his memories; his son, Marquis Andre Sewell; daughter, La Quitta Sewell; brother, Vincent Carter (Chastity); niece, Kimberly Hewitt Ward; grandsons, Marquis A. Sewell and Malik A. Sewell; nieces, Crystal Ward, Cheryl Ward and Cierra Ward; nephews, Curtis Ward, Jr. and Craig Ward; great-aunt, Helen Wilson and a host of family members and friends.
