Latresia Rochelle Homer was born on December 27, 1980, in Weimar, Texas. She grew up in La Grange and was the second oldest of four children.
She was a dedicated mother who ensured her children were provided for, they were truly the love of her life. To know Rochelle was to love her. She had a heart of gold and was a lover of family, friends, and strangers. She was a beautiful woman, both inside and out and had the soul of a warrior. Despite the challenges and circumstances life threw at her, the love of her children and family were unwavering. Her unfaltering love and determined spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Rochelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, 6 uncles and 3 aunts.
She is survived by her loving children: three sons: Dameon McKenzie of Dallas, TX, Cordaroll Celestine and Brayden Homer of La Grange, TX; one daughter, Amajine Homer of San Marcos, TX. Her devoted mother, Linda Homer of La Grange, TX; her sisters, Drs. Bonita Teasley (Martell) of Salt Lake City, UT and Kimberly Homer (Anthony) of Columbus, TX. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
