Larry Gene Johnson also known as BigMan to his family and friends was born the 3rd child out of 11 children to Leroy and L.E. Johnson on July 8, 1950, in Fayette County. He departed this life on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Schulenburg, TX.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rose Johnson, his parents Leroy and L.E. Johnson, 3 Sisters: Betty Scott, Gwendolyn Bouldwin and Rhonda Scott, and 2 Brothers: Leroy Johnson Jr. and Charles Johnson, Brother n law Morris C. Williams and Nephew Byron BJ Johnson.
He leave to cherish his precious memories 2 Brothers, Leonard Johnson (Marilyn) Schulenburg, Tx, Michael Johnson (Sandra)/La Grange, Tx, 3 Sisters Erma Williams of Weimar, Tx, Charlotte Johnson of Houston, Tx and Janette McKenzie (Melvin Houston)/Schulenburg, Tx 3 Brother n laws Larry Scott/Houston, Tx, Macy Scott/La Grange, Tx and Michael Henderson(Delores) of Ft Worth, Tx, 2 Sister n Laws Molly Smith/Ft. Worth, Tx and Minister Kathleen Tuiqalau, (Saula) of Juneau, Alaska and 1 Aunt Stella Mae Johnson of Weimar, Tx along with a host of neices, nephews, cousins family and friends. Homegoing Services for Larry will be held on Saturday July 27, 2024, at 11:00am at St. James Missionary Baptist Church West Point, TX
