LaQuince DeFrance Thomas was born on February 16, 1980, to Quinton and Robbie Thomas. He decided to make Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior at an early age, being baptized at Rehoboth Baptist Church by Elder R. D. Reese.
LaQuince grew up in Manor, Texas and attended Manor ISD for his education.
LaQuince was very talented and a hardworking man. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, he drove eighteen wheelers, semis, to installing custom audio systems in cars. Working security for South-By-Southwest music and other late-night venues in the area. His passion was to be a successful business owner, which he accomplished in June 2022. He started Booms Shaved Ice, LLC.
While family and friends were shocked by LaQuince's sudden passing, Father God saw fit to call him home. We are truly thankful for his life and the time we've gotten to spend with him. LaQuince was the comedian of the family, he loved to crack jokes and leave you with a smile.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Freddie Thomas and paternal grandfather, Hughie L. Shaw, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Kendra Kurowski Thomas; her children, Nathan, Tianne, Lusiano, Aubrey, Brandon and Arianna. His sons, Freddie LaQuince and James DeFrance Thomas. His parents, Quinton and Robbie Thomas. His only sister, LaQuindra Lee (Justin); Grandmother, Ruby Shaw and a very large family of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and multiple cousins.
