Kezia Heslep, age 40, passed away peacefully from this life the morning of April 4, 2023. She was born July 16,1983, in Taylor, Texas to her parents Prophet Vernon Dale Heslep and Emma Jo Heslep.
Kezia had an amazing voice and was known for her important role in leading songs of praise and worship in church. She had a sharp ear for music and could hear how to arrange vocal harmonies. One of Kezia's best songs was from the Gospel Red album in 2010. Just Let Him Work. The song was played on a local radio station in Austin, Texas and was such an inspiration to all who heard it. She also recorded other songs such as, Put A Smile on Your Face and Better Days.
Kezia would always brighten up any room with her beautiful spirit and great sense of humor. There was never a dull moment in her presence as she would do the best to impressions of people and have everyone laughing around her. She absolutely loved celebrating her birthday month. She was also a very good listener and a genuine friend you could talk to about anything. Kezia was the type of person that would listen to you and give her best advice and encouragement to help.
