Kenneth Wayne Fenix was born on February 11, 1966, in La Grange, Texas, the youngest of five children born to the late Walter Fenix Sr. and Elizabeth (Washington) Fenix.
He was baptized at an early age at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church and later united with St. James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Austin Jones.
Kenneth graduated from La Grange High School in 1985. He was a welder by trade and dedicated many years of service to Steward and Stevenson in Sealy, Texas; Dairy Farmers of America in Schulenburg, Texas; and Utex in Weimar, Texas.
On August 10, 2019, Kenneth married Vanessa Williams-Fenix, and together they built a blended family of 11 children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Fenix; one brother, Walter Fenix Jr.; and one sister, Caroline Fenix.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Vanessa Fenix; his children, Cullen Boston (LaKesha), Desiree' Levi (Jarrette), Savandra Smith (Jafus), Denzel Fenix (Jade), Oliver Bonner, Sade Guyton, Colby Wilson (Tasha), Charity Williams, Rayjaynee Williams, Aquarius Williams, and Jaremiah Williams (Tamereo); 33 grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky Fenix Sr. (Marion) and Gary Henderson; one sister, Alberta Woodson; one uncle, Louis Fenix; two aunts, Julie Robinson and Rachael Pendergrass; brothers-in-law, Leon Scott and Friendly Wicks Jr. (Christine), and special friends, Pastor Austin Jones (Joann), James Ronald Carlton, John Daniels, Larry Scott, Charles Williams, and Wayland Wheeler. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
