James Leonard Orise

James Leonard Orise was born on April 17, 1945, to Eddie Orise and Elizabeth Steverson Orise in Fayetteville, Texas.

He attended Randolph High School in La Grange, Texas and graduated with the Class of 1962. After graduation he enlisted in the US Air Force, where he served for six years. Upon completing his military obligation, he worked at NASA as a computer analysis for 10 years and retired as a carpenter of services for 30 years.

Two children were born, Andre' Scott and Brandy Scott to his long-time sweetheart, Victoria Scott of La Grange, Texas. He married Sandra Williams Orise and had one child, Sherise LaShaw Orise.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Andre' Scott, Brandy Scott both of Houston, Texas and Sherise LaShawn Orise Williams-Marus of Corpus Christi, Texas, seven grandchildren, Marquise Payne, Jarius Scott and Darius Scott all of Houston, Texas, Kiara Orise, Alexis Williams, Marcus Williams and Milanni Williams all of Corpus Christi, Texas, one sister, Nellie Orise Jenkins of Columbus, Texas. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
