Gladys Marie Martin

On Saturday, May 28, 2022, Sister Gladys Marie Martin gained her Heavenly Wings. She was born on June 21, 1954, to the late Vancie McFarland Martin and Lee Andrew Martin.

Sister Gladys accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized and became a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Gladys graduated from La Grange High School in 1973. She was a homemaker, and she loved her family as well as her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lizzy Mae Martin, 1 sister, Claudia Ann Martin, and 1 brother, Robert McFarland.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memories, 1 daughter, Miranda Martin, 2 granddaughters, Vancie and Kianna Martin, 3 brothers, Charles Martin (Freda), Brian Marin and Deacon Tommy Martin (Pam). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
