Gladys Demerson

Gladys Demerson was called home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Austin, Texas. She was born in La Grange, Texas on July 22, 1928. She entered this world the thirteenth of thirteen children.to William Demerson, Sr. and Sophia Gates Demerson.

Gladys accepted Christ at Peach Grove at an early age. She was a graduate of Randolph High School as valedictorian of her class. Gladys was above all a faithful member of St. James United Methodist Church.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers, and nephews. She leaves to mourn her passing her nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Zachary and Pastor Wille Mae Axel Williams, special neighbors, to those who were always there waiting with a helping hand.

To all the many students that have spanned many generations and of course my many co-workers over the years. THANKS, I LOVE each and every one of you. My "head scarf" one of many have been prepared for me.
