Floyd James Bacon was born in San Antonio, Texas to Clarence J. Bacon and Alice M. Bacon on September 29, 1959, with twin brother Leonard James Bacon. He attended school in SAISD from Elementary through High School, where he and his twin brother held the title of world's fastest track stars 1979 thru 2013 at Sam Houston High School.
Floyd was skilled in many different trades which included electrical, auto mechanics, plumbing, yard care and antiques. His all time hobby and love was woodwork and carpentry. He was truly a hard worker who was very happy and eager to help anyone in need.
After deciding to make Hallettsville his home he married the love of his life, Nacole Scott Bacon on March 29, 2008. All who knew him witnessed this Christian loving man. He was a member of the East End Church of God'
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence James Bacon and brother, Melvin Anthony Bacon. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, His loving wife, Andrea Nacole Bacon; mother, Alice M. Bacon; four daughters, Angellee (DeEric) Martin, J'hanee Davis, Tyesha (Louis,III) Goode and Beyonce' Shephard; one son, J'marion Scott; two sisters, Alice Jackson and Brenda Bacon; three brothers, Leonard Bacon, Jeffery (Mary)Bacon and Christopher (Jessica) Bacon. He is also survived by five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
