As the wife of John Johnson, Elizabeth enjoyed over 60 years of marriage and set the example of what sticking together, no matter what really meant. As a mother, she helped raise and give her kids everything she could. As a grandmother, she'd never forget to ask how work was going and to remind you to strive at becoming something great so you don't have to struggle in life.
She was the epitome of someone who lived their truth. as someone who didn't bite her tongue, she always gave an unfiltered honest opinion of what she thought of you. Technology was never of importance to her, either you talked to her on her home phone or you'd just have to see her in person. Her style and love for fancy hats and beautiful dresses inspired everyone to always look their best. She never drove on the freeway, but that never stopped her from going to the movies of shopping at her favorite stores.
Everything that she cooked had a side of soul, especially when she made beans and cornbread with fresh greens. There's not enough pages to in the world to explain the impact she had on those around her. For now we celebrate her in thought until we meet again in God's Kingdom.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, John Johnson; daughters; Darlene & Rosemary; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, AJ, Joshua, Matthew & Kristopher; great grandchildren, Cipriani, Elora, Joshawn, D'ontre, Zara, Naomi, Matthew, Mariah, Riley, Kennedy, Carter and Layla.
