Edward (Eddie) Wilson was one of three sons and one daughter born to Mike and Magdline Wilson. on February 16, 1953, in Weimar, Texas.
He confessed a belief in Christ at an early age. He attended Karl Downs High School and graduated from Weimar High School, both located in Weimar, Texas. Eddie was employed as a construction worker for Drymalla Construction Company for many years from where he retired.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Louise Wilson; his parents, Mike and Maggie Wilson, 2 sons, Kareem O. Johnson and Brandon Earl Smallwood, and 1 grandson, Joshua Wilson.
The Lord saw that he was tired and called him home on September 9, 2023, away from Paradigm at The Oak Nursing Center in Schulenburg, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four daughters, La Teresa Wilson ( Arthur) of Houston, Texas, Ashley Smallwood of Houston, Texas, Brittany Wilson of Glidden, Texas; and Miranda Adams of Hallettsville, Texas; two sons, Kevin (Jennifer) Wilson of Hallettsville, Texas and Curtis Wilson; two sisters, Rosie Clarkson of New Ulm. Texas and Gladys Chandler of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, John Wayne Wilson of Weimar, Texas and James Wilson of Victoria, Texas. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
