Donald Brown Obituary

Donald Al Brown was born to proud parents, Samuel Clint Brown and Mary Ann Thomas in Houston, Texas on March 15, 1948. He was raised by his grandparents, Commodore and Iris Brown in Oakland, Texas.

During this time Donald often helped his grandparents with their farm and local store. There he developed a lifelong love of fishing, hunting, gardening and barbecuing. He was an exceptional athlete; playing baseball, basketball and football.

He graduated with the class of 1966 from Karl Downs High School in Weimar, Texas. He was also a man of duty. Donald joined the united States Army where he served his country during the Vietnam War. This proud Veteran was also a proud father. Donald was a hard working man, a great protector and provider for his family.

During the latter part of his life some of his fondest memories were spending time with his grandchildren. He spent his last days surrounded by family and friends who supported him. Donald is survived by his children: Krystal Iris Montalvo and her husband, Waldemar, Broderick Dewayne Brown and his wife Kelly; sister, Michelle Adams and her husband, Wayne.
