Alvin Willrich

Alvin Andrew Willrich, Sr. was born on October 16, 1947, in La Grange, TX to Shelbert (Shelby) and Tarvia Lee (Faison) Willrich, who preceded him in death.

Alvin was raised and attended school in La Grange where he met Sedalia, who preceded him in death in 1994. The two were married on July 16, 1967. To this union 4 children were born, Michael Sr., Alvin Jr., Terrance and Raquel. They raised their children in Houston while Alvin worked as a mechanic at Hub Buick Hyundai Mitsubishi where he retired after many years of service.

On September 1, 1998, Alvin married his wife Barbara Ann, to whom he cared for until she transitioned to be with the Lord in 2020. Alvin was a bonus dad to her son, DeWayne. The couple had 1 daughter, Alkeysha (Kandy)

On June 9, 2024, God called Alvin home. He is preceded in death by his parents; wives, Sedalia and Barbara; brothers, Mark and Billy; grandson, DeyShawn LaVont; and great grandson, Prince.

He leaves to cherish his memory many loved ones including his children, Michael Sr. (Cynthia), Alvin Jr., DeWayne (LaTarya), Terrance (Tiffany), Raquel (Ramiah) and Kandy (Chris); his brother, James Logan (Cindy); his sisters-in-love, Marva Jean and Robbie; grandchildren, TraNisha, Treven, Michael Jr. TraSheana, Jordan (Kayla), Calvin III, Dasia (Glendell), Jadah, Keon, Jakayla, Aeryn, Jaylon, Jaynay, Adryn, Austyn, Amyre (known by him as Shelby); great-grandchildren, DeeJ, Jade, Lola and Jordan Jr.; along with a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
