Obituary
Alexander Polk was born May 27, 1976 in Victoria Texas to David, Sr. and LaVera Jean Polk. He grew up in Hallettsville Texas, attended school in the Hallettsville Independent School District and graduated from Hallettsville High School. In 1995 Alex met Elizabeth Rosales and to this relationship four children were born. Alex loved to fish; play and watch football; listen to and make music. Music was one of his joys. Above his music, his most prized accomplishment and greatest joys were his children. In 2000 Alex moved to Utah. He remained there until he departed life on October 7, 2021.
He is proceeded in death by his father, David Polk Sr., brother, David Polk Jr and sister Mae Jewel Harrison. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, LaVera Jean Polk Yoakum TX, brothers, Michael, Yoakum TX; Richard Nichols, Cuero TX; Raymond, Victoria TX; Chris, Corpus Christi TX; Charles, Killeen TX; sisters, Sharon, San Antonio TX; Natalie Nichols, Cuero TX; Demetrius Harrison, Corpus Christi TX; son, Va'Naun Alexander, Cuero TX; daughters, Jordan Kimmell, Cedar Park TX; Elyssia Alexandria, Cuero TX; Phanes Anastasia, Chicago, IL; Jazmine Hernandez, TN; Pharah Awriel, Yoakum TX, two grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends/cousin, Reginald Paige and Jamie Hartwell
